We are back from touring in the UK/Germany and Netherlands, 5 weeks on the road in a rented motorhome with our 2 children was an adventure to remember. We performed at the Great Escape Festival in Brighton, and the Liverpool Soundcity Festival where we were delightfully surprised by the turnouts. You really have to hand it to our Canadian Music Associations (Manitoba Music and Manitoba Film and Music, FACTOR) for their consistently excellent support for touring musicians. They fund us, they promote us and push us out of our nests with flailing wings. Next was the Liverpool Soundcity Festival, a house concert at Rudyard Kipling's mansion, through Eurotunnels down winding cobblestone roads, by tram and train and overnight ferries, we played our hearts out for many, and came home with a heart full of new experiences, new friends and Winnipeg in the summer.
Here are some tourdates, hope to see you out there!

Our album Lucky Stars is mixed and mastered and being prepared for it's release into the ether via CD or Vinyl on April 17, 2015. That same evening we'll be celebrating at the WECC. Say... want to come? We also have some tour dates listed HERE . We'll be sharing the stage with Grant Davidson, who goes by Slow Leaves when he's singing, and this man can sing. He can write a song too, and one of them called Life Of A Better Man is a favourite on CBC radio. For Leaf Rapid's part you can expect a groovy bass base with some looped acoustic guitar and vocals, and a dash of theremin for your listening pleasure. We've temporarily stolen Little Miss Higgins and the Winnipeg Five's drummer Evan Friesen which we will one day return safely and soundly home to the old panty manufacturing plant where they all reside.
It's exciting to take the new songs on a trip, we hope you're curious enough to come to a show.Thank you for supporting live music, it's good for all involved parties.
